Christopher Taylor (game Designer)
Christopher "Chris" Taylor is a video game, board game and card game, developer originally from Southern California. Taylor is most famous for acting as lead designer for the original ''Fallout'' title for Interplay Entertainment, working alongside Tim Cain, Leonard Boyarsky and Jason Anderson. While at Interplay, Taylor contributed to the design of '' Star Trek: Starfleet Command'', '' Stonekeep'' and ''Fallout 2''. He also served as producer for ''The Lord of the Rings Online''. In 2005, Taylor and two other ''Fallout'' designers (Tom Decker and Scott Everts) founded Zero Radius Games, a board game and non-collectible card game development company. On September 22, 2008, it was announced on Interplay's website that Taylor had rejoined the company and would be working on "Project V13", later revealed to be ''Fallout Online''. ''Fallout Online'' is a cancelled massively multiplayer online game (MMO) set in the ''Fallout (series), Fallout'' universe that was being developed by Masthead Studios and was to be published by Interplay Entertainment, Interplay, with members of the Interplay team providing creative control and design. Black Isle Studios is a division of the developer and publisher Interplay Entertainment that develops role-playing video games. It has published several games from other developers. Black Isle is based in Irvine, California. The division was formed in 1996, adopting the name "Black Isle Studios" in 1998. The idea for the division's name came from the Black Isle in Scotland - founder Feargus Urquhart's ancestral country. Black Isle Studios is most famous for working on the first two games in the ''Fallout'' series as well as the critically acclaimed '' Planescape: Torment''. ''Pillars of Eternity'' is a role-playing video game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive.
