Christopher Milne
Christopher Milne (born 24 May 1950) is an Australian actor and award-winning writer who has scripted numerous episodes of ''Prisoner'' and ''Neighbours'', as well as appearing on the shows as a performer. He also originated the character of Philip Martin on the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', in 1985 (when the program debut originally on Network Seven) before Ian Rawlings was cast in the role. He was also Ben Mazzini in ''Water Under The Bridge''. Milne also acted in such films as the vampire film ''Thirst'' and '' Felicity''. He has written children's books (ages 6–13) for many years and his '' Naughty Stories for Good Boys and Girls'' is a winner of The Young Australians Best Book Award. ''Prisoner'' (known in the UK and the US as ''Prisoner: Cell Block H'') is an Australian television soap opera, which broadcast on Network Ten (originally The 0-10 Network) from February 27 (Melbourne) February 26 (Sydney) 1979 to December 1986 (Melbourne), though the series finale would not screen until September 1987 in Sydney, where it aired as a 3-hour film that was split into three 1-hour episodes at the much-later time-slot of 10.30pm, running eight seasons and 692 episodes. Philip Gordon Martin is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Ian Rawlings. Originally played by Christopher Milne during the character's first appearance in 1985, Rawlings took over the role when the character returned to the show in 1992 and remained until 1999. Ian Rawlings (born 9 March 1959) is an Australian actor. He is best known for his long-running roles in soap operas '' Sons and Daughters'' and ''Neighbours''.
