Christopher Jeburk
Christopher Lawrence Jeburk is a convicted felon who successfully committed a string of bank robberies along the East Coast of the United States. He escaped four times from prison, twice from a regional detention center and twice while in federal custody, to commit more crimes. He is currently incarcerated in a maximum security penitentiary USP Allenwood. Early life Christopher Jeburk was born to a southern African-American family. He was raised a Christian. Crime Beginning in 1995, at the age of 19, Jeburk started robbing banks. On October 13, 1995, Jeburk forced teller Amy Shaw, a native of North Augusta, South Carolina, to open the bank's vault by holding six members of her family hostage at gunpoint (with the help of Daniel Evans and Lamarko Rosco). The theft netted $86,000. This money has not been recovered. After conviction, but awaiting sentencing, Jeburk escaped the Columbia County Detention Center on March 27. The United States Penitentiary, Thomson (USP Thomson), formerly Thomson Correctional Center, is a high-security federal prison located in Thomson, Illinois. It has an area of about and comprises 15 buildings. The facility is enclosed by a , 7000 volt electric fence surrounded by an additional exterior fence covered with razor wire. Thomson has eight cellhouses with a rated capacity of 2,100 beds—1,900 high-security SMU beds and 200 minimum-security beds at the onsite camp—and according to BOP officials, the potential to use some of its high-security rated capacity to house up to 400 ADX inmates. A prisoner (also known as an inmate or detainee) is a person who is deprived of liberty against their will. This can be by confinement, captivity, or forcible restraint. The term applies particularly to serving a prison sentence in a prison. English law "Prisoner" is a legal term for a person who is imprisoned. In section 1 of the Prison Security Act 1992, the word "prisoner" means any person for the time being in a prison as a result of any requirement imposed by a court or otherwise that he be detained in legal custody. "Prisoner" was a legal term for a person prosecuted for felony. It was not applicable to a person prosecuted for misdemeanour. ''The FBI Files'' is an American television docudrama series that originally ran from 1998 to 2006 on the Discovery Channel and produced by New Dominion Pictures. The show was cancelled in 2006. However, Court TV Mystery, Discovery, and its sister network, Investigation Discovery, aired re-runs until October 2012. Investigation Discovery only showed episodes from seasons 5,6, and 7. As of October 2012, the network now airs episodes from the earlier seasons (although not necessarily in chronological order), with updated information about the cases at the end of most episodes. Up to late September 2012, WE tv showed episodes from seasons 1-4, but the network had removed the episode introductions by Jim Kallstrom.
