Christopher Good
Christopher Good is an English actor best known for his work on television. He was born in Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. In the 1970s he made a stage appearance in a musical version of Jeeves and Wooster. In the 90s he was, according to ''the Times'', one of the most energetic Falstaffs ever. Mr. Good has made many one-off or short-lived appearances in drama and comedy programmes, with ''Murder Most Horrid'', ''Rumpole of the Bailey'', ''Danger UXB'', ''The Choir'' and ''Pie in the Sky'' being among them. He appeared in ''The Beast Below'', an episode of the 2010 series of ''Doctor Who''. He is arguably best known for his role as Quentin Kirrin in the 1990s television adaptation of ''The Famous Five'', Enid Blyton novels in which he appeared in eighteen episodes. In retirement he has restored an old mill and created a large and wonderful garden in Herefordshire. ''By Jeeves'', originally ''Jeeves'', is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and lyrics and book by Alan Ayckbourn. It is based on the series of novels and short stories by P. G. Wodehouse that centre around the character of Bertie Wooster and his loyal valet, Jeeves. Premiering on April 22, 1975, at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, the show flopped initially, running for only a month. ''Secret Army'' is a British television drama made by the BBC and the Belgian national broadcaster BRT (now VRT) created by Gerard Glaister. It tells the story of a fictional Belgian resistance movement in German-occupied Belgium during the Second World War dedicated to returning Allied airmen, usually having been shot down by the Luftwaffe, to Great Britain. It was made in the UK and Belgium and three series were broadcast on BBC1 between 7 September 1977 and 15 December 1979.
