Christopher Golden
Christopher Golden (born July 15, 1967) is an American author of horror, fantasy, and suspense novels for adults and teens. Early life Golden was born and raised in Massachusetts, where he still lives with his family. He graduated from Tufts University. Career As well as novels, Golden has written comic books and video games, and co-written the online animated series '' Ghosts of Albion'' with actress/writer/director Amber Benson. He co-created and co-writes the Dark Horse Comics series ''Baltimore'' with Mike Mignola and wrote the introduction to the now collectible, 200-only copies, slipcased edition of Joe Hill's book of short stories titled '' 20th Century Ghosts''. He has also edited numerous horror and dark fantasy fiction anthologies. Golden worked on the script for ''Hellboy'', a reboot film based on Mignola's comic series Hellboy, though he ultimately was uncredited. Bloodstained Oz
''Bloodstained Oz'' is a '' Wizard of Oz'' related novella by Christopher Golden and James A. Moore, and it was illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne. It was published as a limited edition hardcover by Earthling Publications in 2006. It comes with an introduction by Ray Garton. It was nominated for the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award for Best Long Fiction in 2006. The story falls outside of L. Frank Baum's original storyline for his '' Wonderful Wizard of Oz'' series and its official sequels. Being outside of the canonical restrictions, ''Bloodstained Oz'' makes the Land of Oz a nightmare for adults instead of a children's story. Both first editions of ''Bloodstained Oz'' were sold out very soon after publication, and there are no current plans to reprint it by Earthling Publications or any other publisher. Hellboy (2019 Film)
''Hellboy'' is a 2019 American superhero film based on the comic books of the same name published by Dark Horse Comics. Directed by Neil Marshall, the film stars David Harbour in the title role, alongside Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, Daniel Dae Kim, and Thomas Haden Church. It is a reboot of the ''Hellboy'' film series, and the third live-action film in the franchise. Rick Hautala
Rick Hautala (February 3, 1949 – March 21, 2013) was an American speculative fiction and horror writer. He graduated from the University of Maine in 1974, where he received a Master of Art in English Literature. Rick arrived on the horror scene in 1980 with many of his early novels published by Zebra books. He has written and published over 90 novels and short stories since the early 1980s. Many of his books have been translated to other languages and sold internationally. ''Cold Whisper'', published in October, 1991 by Zebra Books, Inc. was also published in Finnish as ''Haamu'' by Werner Söderström, Helsinki, Finland, in August, 1994. Tim Lebbon (born 28 July 1969, London) is a British horror and dark fantasy writer. Life Lebbon was born in London. He lived in Devon until he was eight and then in Newport until the age of 26. He now lives in Goytre, Monmouthshire with his wife and two children. Career Lebbon's short story ″Reconstructing Amy″ won the Bram Stoker Award for Short Fiction in 2001, his novel ''Dusk'' won the 2007 August Derleth Award from the British Fantasy Society for best novel of the year.
