Christopher Gibson
Christopher Gibson (born 27 December 1992) is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). Gibson was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the second round (49th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, although he never played for them, instead signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, playing in their minor league system before a trade sent Gibson to the New York Islanders. Early life Gibson was born in Karkkila, Finland to Peter, an artist and kick boxer from Saint Lucia, and a Finnish mother, Ulla Nurse. He was raised in Espoo, Finland before moving to Saskatchewan at age 15 to attend Notre Dame College. The Telus Cup is Canada's national under-18 ice hockey club championship. It is an annual event, held by Hockey Canada each April. From 1979 to 2003, the national championship was sponsored by Air Canada. The current champions are the Moncton Flyers who won the 2022 Telus Cup. Billy Smith (ice Hockey)
William John Smith (born December 12, 1950) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He won four Stanley Cups with the New York Islanders and was the first goalie to be credited with a goal in the NHL. In 2017 Smith was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Playing career NHL beginnings Smith was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 5th round of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft from the Cornwall Royals of the QMJHL. Patric Gösta Hörnqvist (; born 1 January 1987) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player and alternate captain for the Florida Panthers in the National Hockey League. He has also played for the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins. Thomas Greiss (born 29 January 1986) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL).
