Christopher G. L. Hall
Christopher G. Hall (born 7 June 1956) is an English-American politician and academic. Hall was the president of the American University in Kosovo and a former state senator from Maine. Hall's background is as a steel and mining executive, but after growing weary of long commutes from Portland, Maine, to New York City, he sought a career change. In 2002, Hall was elected as a Democratic senator in midcoast Maine in a disputed election in which he narrowly defeated Republican Leslie Fossel. He failed to win reelection in 2004, and in 2007 accepted the appointment to lead the American University in Kosovo. In May 2014, Hall was appointed president of International Horizons College in Dubai by its board of trustees. Peggy Rotundo
Margaret "Peggy" R. Rotundo (born July 16, 1949) is an American politician from Maine. Rotundo served as a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 74, which included part of Lewiston, from 2008 until 2016. From 2000 to 2008, she represented Lewiston in the Maine Senate. In 2006 she was named Senate Chair of the Maine Joint Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs. Supporters have regularly praised Rotundo for her commitment to bipartisanship and her advocacy for Maine people, particularly veterans, children, the elderly, immigrants and working mothers. In February 2016, Rotundo announced she would not run for Maine Senate. She was unable to seek re-election to the Maine House of Representatives due to term-limits. Rotundo served as an at-large member of the Lewiston School Committee from 1994 to 2002, including four years as Chair of the School Committee (1998–2002). York County Community College (YCCC) is a public community college in Wells, Maine. YCCC is part of the Maine Community College System. History York County Community College was established in 1994 as York County Technical College (YCTC) by the 116th Maine Legislature. In 1995, YCTC opened with an enrollment of 156 students as well as three associate degree programs and two certificate programs. In December 1995, YCTC earned candidacy accreditation status from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Full accreditation status was obtained in 1999.
