Chris Ellis (basketball)
Christopher Allan Bansil Ellis (born December 5, 1988) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 6th overall in the 2012 PBA draft by Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. He is of Filipino descent. Ellis won the 2013 PBA All-Star Weekend Slamdunk Competition during his rookie season in Digos, Davao del Sur. Ellis was traded to the Blackwater Elite in August 2017 along with Dave Marcelo, in exchange for Art dela Cruz and Raymond Aguilar. But he had not played for his new team, initially after he was diagnosed with acute renal disease or a kidney issue. In 2019, after his full recovery, Ellis played for Luang Prabang Basketball Team of the Thailand Basketball Super League. PBA career statistics

Christopher John Ellis (born September 22, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He has previously played in MLB for the Kansas City Royals, Tampa Bay Rays and Baltimore Orioles. Career Amateur Ellis was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 50th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama. He did not sign with the Dodgers and attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) to play college baseball. In 2013, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Los Angeles Angels Ellis was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the third round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He signed and made his professional debut with the rookie-level Orem Owlz where he pitched to a 6.89 earned run average (ERA) in innings pitched. Chris Ellis (also known as Christopher Ellis) is a British songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, who has been recording and touring in the UK since 1984. Chris Ellis' current work includes live piano improvisations, drawn from the traditions of Western classical, jazz, blues, folk and more. In addition to his solo work, Ellis has played piano and guitar with several bands, including the Anglesey based band Ghostriders of which he was a member between 1982 and 1991. He has performed regularly with Gong Bassist Dave Sturt and with Canadian singer-songwriter Celeste Lovick since 2001. Between 2012 and 2022 Chris Ellis has toured with the TCPA's Land of Promise show, performing songs with violinist Rosie Toll. Samantha Janus represented United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991 with the Paul Curtis-written song "A Message to Your Heart", which was placed 10th. Before Eurovision A Song for Europe 1991 That year's ''A Song for Europe'' was held on 29 March 1991 and was hosted by Terry Wogan. Following the somewhat negative comments by one member of the celebrity panel in 1990, the panel idea was dropped in 1991. The BBC Concert Orchestra under the direction of Ronnie Hazlehurst as conductor accompanied all the songs, the musicians appearing on camera for the first time since 1978. The eight songs in contention to represent the UK were presented during Terry Wogan's ''Wogan'' chat show on BBC1. Two songs were presented during each of four broadcasts between 20 and 27 March.
