Chris Day
Christopher Nicholas Day (born 28 July 1975) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Day started his career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent five years, making one Premier League appearance for the North London club. He joined Crystal Palace for a fee of £225,000 in July 1996, whom he played regularly for throughout the 1996–97 season. The following season, Day signed for Watford, and he played for the club in the Premier League during the 1999–2000 season. He spent a further season at the club, before joining Lincoln City on a three-month deal in December 2000. He was released by Lincoln, and later joined Queens Park Rangers, spending three and a half years at the club, whilst also having brief spells on loan at Aylesbury United and Preston North End. Christopher Paul Day (born February 1960) is a British hepatologist who currently serves as Vice-Chancellor of Newcastle University. Career Educated at Marden High School, Tynemouth Sixth Form College and Churchill College, Cambridge, Day became a clinician at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1985 and a research scientist in liver disease at Newcastle University in 1987. He went on to be Consultant Hepatologist on the Liver Unit at the Freeman Hospital in 1994 before becoming Professor of Liver Medicine at Newcastle University in 2000. He became head of the School of Clinical Medical Sciences at Newcastle University in 2004, Pro-Vice-Chancellor in 2007 and Vice-Chancellor in January 2017. He also became chair of the Russell Group of universities in September 2023. Chris Day is a women's college basketball coach, and former head coach of the University of Vermont women's basketball team. Currently, he is an assistant coach at La Salle. College career Day was a two-sport athlete at West Chester University, where he competed in football and track and field. He was a member of two of West Chester's Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference titles in 1992 and 1994, and was an all-conference sprinter earning ECAC and PSAC honors after setting a conference record in the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. Chris Crass (born c. 1973) is an American anarchist, activist, and writer on topics of anti-racist and feminist organizing.
