Christophe Lepoint
Christophe Paul F. Lepoint (; born 24 October 1984) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Belgian First Division A club Seraing. Club career On 31 January 2011, he was seriously injured in a car accident. He fell asleep in the passenger seat of a car being driven by his teammate Sébastien Bruzzese who, it is alleged, had been drinking. Afterwards, he struggled to get back into the first team and was loaned out to Waasland-Beveren in the summer of 2012. After a series of good performances for Waasland-Beveren and with Gent struggling in the league, Gent offered to loan out Stijn De Smet and Jordan Remacle to allow Lepoint to return to Gent early. The 2013–14 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 111th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It started on 27 July 2013 with the match between Club Brugge and Charleroi and finished on 18 May 2014 with Anderlecht grabbing their 33rd title due to a 3–1 at home against Lokeren. During the regular season, Standard Liège started by winning their first nine matches, putting pressure on their main challengers Anderlecht, Club Brugge, Genk and Zulte Waregem. The regular season began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 16 May 2009. Standard Liège were the defending champions. On 19 April 2009, Mons were relegated after Dender beat Roeselare 3–1 and made it mathematically impossible for Mons to climb into 16th position or higher.
