Christoph Süß
Christoph Süß (born December 17, 1967) is a German cabaret artist and television presenter. Life A native of the Sendling area of Munich, Süß gained his first experiences in theatre while in secondary school, performing in school plays, in amateur theatre troupes, and as a singer in several rock bands. After graduation, he enrolled in 1990 at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich to study philosophy, but eventually dropped out to concentrate on his developing career as a cabaret artist. In 1995, Süß began his first stint of solo performances, appearing in small art theatres in his native Munich and around Bavaria. Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR; "Bavarian Broadcasting") is a public-service radio and television broadcaster, based in Munich, capital city of the Free State of Bavaria in Germany. BR is a member organization of the ARD consortium of public broadcasters in Germany. History Bayerischer Rundfunk was founded in Munich in 1922 as Deutsche Stunde in Bayern. It aired its first program on 30 March 1924. The first broadcasts consisted mainly of time announcements, news, weather and stock market reports, and music. Cabaret is a form of theatrical entertainment featuring music, song, dance, recitation, or drama. The performance venue might be a pub, a casino, a hotel, a restaurant, or a nightclub with a stage for performances.
