Stermann & Grissemann are an Austrian German comedy duo comprising Dirk Stermann and Christoph Grissemann. Background Dirk Stermann Dirk Stermann (born 7 December 1965 in Duisburg) hails from Germany and is a German radio and television presenter and author. Stermann graduated from the University of Düsseldorf where he studied History and Theatre studies. In 1987 he moved to Austria and started working for the broadcaster Österreichischer Rundfunk in 1988. Christoph Grissemann Christoph Grissemann (born 17 May 1966 in Innsbruck) is an Austrian comedian, radio and television presenter. The Eurovision Song Contest 2002 was the 47th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tallinn, Estonia, following the country's victory at the with the song "Everybody" by Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL. It was one of a set of at least six canons probably written in Vienna in 1782. Sung by six voices as a three-part round, it is thought to be a party piece for his friends. English translation The German idiom used as the title of the work is equivalent to the English "Kiss my arse!" or American "Kiss my ass!" However, the literal translation of the title is "Lick me in the arse". Publication and modern discovery Mozart died in 1791 and his widow, Constanze Mozart, sent the manuscripts of the canons to publishers Breitkopf & Härtel in 1799 saying that they would need to be adapted for publication. The publisher changed the title and lyrics of this canon to the more acceptable "" ("Let us be glad!"). Werner Schwab (4 February 1958 – 1 January 1994) was an Austrian playwright and visual artist. Biography From 1978 to 1982 he studied sculpture at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna. During the 1980s he worked as a sculptor and woodcutter. Schwab was a heavy drinker who was said to have written his plays late at night while listening to loud music (particularly the band Einstürzende Neubauten, whom he was friends with). His body was found on New Year's Day 1994. Work Schwab's first play ''Die Präsidentinnen'' (sometimes translates as ''First Ladies'' or ''Holy mothers''), was produced at the Theater im Künstlerhaus in Vienna in 1990. Between then and his death four years later he wrote sixteen plays, eight of which were produced during his lifetime, making his career one of the briefest, most spectacular and most controversial in contemporary German-language theatre.
