''Christmas in My Heart'' is the first Christmas album and the fifth studio album by German recording artist Sarah Connor. Released by X-Cell Records on , the album features cover versions of popular Christmas tunes and original material. Connor worked with frequent collaborators Rob Tyger and Kay Denar on the album. Chart performance ''Christmas in My Heart'' peaked at number six on the Austrian, German, and Swiss Albums Chart. In 2006 after a baby break Sarah decided to reissue "Christmas in my heart" with a new lead single "Best side of life". "The Best side of life" was featured in Coca-Cola's German Christmas promotional campaign. The single reached #4 on the German charts. The reissue didn't fare as well, however, debuting at #49 on the German charts, peaking at #25. On the same date Sarah also released a concert DVD of her performing the Christmas tunes under the same name as the album. Male vocals were provided by Naturally 7 member Dwight Stewart. After the success of ''Naughty but Nice (album), Naughty but Nice'', Connor decided to release her first album of Christmas music entitled ''Christmas in My Heart''. The title track "Christmas in My Heart" was released to promote the album and Connor's tour at the time. The single peaked at number four on the Media Control Charts, German Singles Chart and was Germany's seventy-seventh best-selling single of 2006. It made brief re-entries in the German charts in December of the three years after its release, and, after 12 years of absence, in the years since 2020. The album features popular songs of the season on the A-side and the sacred music of Christmas on the B-side. It was re-released as ''Connie's Christmas'' in 1966. Background ''Christmas in My Heart'' was recorded in August 1959 at EMI's famous Abbey Road Studios, then called EMI Recording Studios in London under the musical direction of Geoff Love and was released in November 1959. The album was repackaged with a new cover design and re-released in October 1962.
