Christin Hussong
Christin Hussong (born 17 March 1994) is a German track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. She has won gold at the 2011 World Youth Championships, 2015 European U23 Championships and at the 2018 European Championships. Hussong holds the European Championships record with her personal best throw of 69.19 m. She is a member of LAZ Zweibrücken's track and field squad and is coached by her father, Udo Hussong. Career 2010–2015 Hussong represented Germany in the girls' javelin throw at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, placing fourth with a throw of 49.89 m. Her season best that year, 55.35 m, ranked her third in the world among youth athletes. 2018 IAAF Continental Cup
The 2018 IAAF Continental Cup is an international track and field sporting event that was held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, on 8–9 September 2018. It is the third edition of the IAAF Continental Cup since the name and format was changed from the IAAF World Cup. Format The four teams competing in the event were Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe. The two-day competition comprised a programme of 20 track and field events for men and women, giving a total of 40 events. Each team shall enter two athletes in each event, except for relays where one team competed, with a maximum of one athlete from each country per event. 2014 European Athletics Championships
The 2014 European Athletics Championships was held in Zürich, Switzerland, between 12 and 17 August 2014. Ida Sofi Emilia Flink (born 8 July 1995) is a Swedish track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. Her personal best throw of 61.96 m is the Swedish women's record. Career Flink won silver at her first international competition, the 2011 World Youth Championships. In 2012, she won gold at the World Junior Championships.
