Christian Larson (director)
Christian Larson is a Swedish film and music video director, editor and photographer. Larson's work includes music videos for Sigur Rós, Seinabo Sey, Kylie Minogue and Icona Pop, as well as commercials and editorials for Cartier, Pepsi, H&M, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Beats by Dre, CDLP, L'Oreal and Agent Provocateur. In 2010 he made the documentary Take One that reached cult status in the electronic dance music world, dubbed »Spinal Tap for the acid house generation« by The Times UK. In 2012 he wrote and directed Valtari, a short film with music from the Icelandic band Sigur Rós and choreography from world-renowned choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkoui. The film received numerous nominations and was awarded a Swedish Grammy for Best Video at the 2013 Swedish Grammy Awards as well as Best Choreography at the 2013 UK Music Video Awards. Sigur Rós
Sigur Rós () is an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, active since 1994. The band comprises singer and guitarist Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson, bassist Georg Hólm, and keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson. Known for their ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi's falsetto vocals, and their use of bowed guitar, Sigur Rós incorporate classical and minimal aesthetic elements. Seinabo Sey (born 7 October 1990) is a Swedish singer and songwriter best known for her international hit song " Younger". Early life Seinabo Sey was born in Södermalm, Stockholm, on 7 October 1990. She is of both Swedish and Gambian ancestry. She moved to Halmstad, Sweden, at the age of eight, and attended Östergårdsskolans music program for musically gifted teenagers. Icona Pop ( ) is a Swedish electropop duo which formed in 2009, with electro house and indie pop music influences. Jonas Åkerlund
Hans Uno Jonas Åkerlund (; born 10 November 1965) is a Swedish film director, screenwriter, music video director, and drummer. His video for Madonna's song "Ray of Light" won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video, Short Form, and a record of five awards at 1998 MTV Video Music Awards, including the Video of the Year. In 2008 he won another Grammy Award, this time around for "Best Long Form Music Video" for another work with Madonna – directing "The Confessions Tour" DVD. The On the Run Tour was a co-headlining stadium tour by American performer Beyoncé and rapper Jay-Z, also known as duo The Carters. The joint tour came shortly after the two had finished their own solo tours — Beyoncé's The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour and Jay-Z's Magna Carter World Tour (both 2013–2014).
