Christian Kohler (1859 - 1926) was a Canadian farmer and politician in Ontario. He represented Haldimand in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal member from 1911 to 1914. Jacob Kohler (October 27, 1860 – January 19, 1934) was an Ontario farmer and political figure. He represented Haldimand in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1905 to 1911 as a Liberal member. He was born in Kohler, Haldimand County, Canada West in 1860, the son of Martin Kohler. In 1885, he married Sarah J. Parsons. William Jaques
William Jaques (May 3, 1861 – June 27, 1927) was an Ontario physician and political figure. He represented Haldimand in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1914 to 1919 as a Conservative member. He was born in Walpole Township, Haldimand County, Canada West, the son of Anthony Jaques who was descended from Huguenots who settled in England. Jaques was educated at the Toronto School of Medicine and set up practice in Jarvis. In 1888, he married Zetta Seatter. Haldimand County, Ontario
Haldimand County is a rural city-status single-tier municipality on the Niagara Peninsula in Southern Ontario, Canada, on the north shore of Lake Erie, and on the Grand River. Despite its name, it is no longer a county by definition, as all municipal services are handled by a single level of government. Municipal offices are located in Cayuga. The county is adjacent to Norfolk County, the County of Brant, the City of Hamilton, and the Regional Municipality of Niagara.
