Christian Cornelius Jensen
Christian Cornelius Jensen (20 July 1883 in Archsum auf Sylt – 18 September 1940 in Berlin) was a German classical philologist and papyrologist. His father, Christian Jensen (1857–1936), was a local historian and teacher. He studied classical philology at the universities of Marburg and Kiel, where he was influenced by the work of Siegfried Sudhaus. He worked as a gymnasium teacher in Kiel and Wandsbek, and in 1910 obtained his habilitation for classical philology at the University of Marburg. In 1912, he became an associate professor at the University of Königsberg, and during the following year, attained a full professorship at the University of Jena. In 1917 he returned as a professor to Königsberg, and later on in his career, worked as a philology professor at the universities of Kiel (from 1921), Bonn (from 1926) and Berlin (from 1937). Christian Albrecht Jensen
Christian Albrecht Jensen (26 June 1792 – 13 July 1870) was a Danish portrait painting, portrait painter who was active during the Danish Golden Age, Golden Age of Danish Painting in the first half of the 19th century. Painting more than 400 portraits over the course of his career, he depicted most of the leading figures of the Danish Golden Age, including the writer Hans Christian Andersen, the painter Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg, the sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen, the physicist Hans Christian Ørsted and the theologian N. F. S. Grundtvig. Although Jensen experienced considerable commercial success, he received little official appreciation from the artistic establishment of his day. Christian Ludvig Jensen
Christian Ludvig Jensen (17 November 1885 – 1978) was a Norwegian barrister, politician and organizational leader. He served as mayor of Aker for several years and was elected to the Storting. He chaired the Norwegian Bar Association, and edited the periodical '' Norsk Retstidende'' for eighteen years. He chaired the mountaineering association Norsk Tindeklub and the Norwegian Trekking Association. Personal life Jensen was born in Christiania to justice Carl Fredrik Jensen and Antonette Christiane Holtermann, and was a grandson of government minister Christian Jensen.
