Christian Gostečnik
Christian Gostečnik, OFM (born 1 May 1955 in Šmihel nad Mozirjem, Slovenia) is a Slovenian Roman Catholic priest of the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor, theologian, clinical psychologist and marriage-and-family therapist. He was dean of Faculty of Theology ( University of Ljubljana), while currently he is a director of Franciscan Family Institute in Ljubljana ( sl, Frančiškanski družinski inštitut; ''FDI''). Biography After he entered the Franciscan order, he started studying at Faculty of Theology in Ljubljana, where he graduated in 1983. He was then sent to United States for further studies and also as a member of Slovenian-American Parish in Lemont, Illinois. Šmihel nad Mozirjem () is a settlement in the Municipality of Mozirje in northern Slovenia. It lies below the Golte Hills north of Mozirje. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. Lemont is a village located in Cook, DuPage, and Will counties in the U.S. state of Illinois, and is a south-west suburb of Chicago. The population was 17,629 as of the 2020 census.
