Christian Doermer
Christian Doermer (5 July 1935 – 14 July 2022) was a German actor and director. He appeared in more than 80 films and television shows from 1954 to 2022. He starred in the 1966 film '' No Shooting Time for Foxes''. The film was entered into the 16th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear Extraordinary Jury Prize. In 1969, Doermer appeared as a German soldier attending the Christmas truce in Sir Richard Attenborough's satirical World War I musical film ''Oh! What a Lovely War''. Doermer himself has also directed a fair number of films including documentaries and television films. In 1962, he was one of the 26 authors of the famous Oberhausen Manifesto, demanding a change in German film. Rostock (), officially the Hanseatic and University City of Rostock (german: link=no, Hanse- und Universitätsstadt Rostock), is the largest city in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and lies in the Mecklenburgian part of the state, close to the border with Pomerania. ''Adorable Arabella'' (German: ''Bezaubernde Arabella'') is a 1959 West German comedy film directed by Axel von Ambesser and starring Johanna von Koczian, Carlos Thompson and Hilde Hildebrand. It is an adaptation of the 1949 novel '' Arabella'' by Georgette Heyer.Goble p.221 The film's sets were designed by the art directors Gottfried Will and Rolf Zehetbauer. It was shot using Agfacolor, with location shooting taking place around Coburg in Bavaria. It premiered just before Christmas 1959 in Cologne. Wilhelm Keitel
Wilhelm Bodewin Johann Gustav Keitel (; 22 September 188216 October 1946) was a German field marshal and war criminal who held office as chief of the '' Oberkommando der Wehrmacht'' (OKW), the high command of Nazi Germany's Armed Forces, during the Second World War. In that capacity, Keitel signed a number of criminal orders and directives that led to numerous war crimes. Keitel's rise to the Wehrmacht high command began with his appointment as the head of the Armed Forces Office at the Reich Ministry of War in 1935. Having taken command of the Wehrmacht in 1938 Hitler replaced the ministry with the OKW and Keitel became its chief. He was reviled among his military colleagues as Hitler's habitual " yes-man". After the war, Keitel was indicted by the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg as one of the "major war criminals". ''Stauffenberg'' is a 2004 Germano–Austrian TV film by Das Erste (German TV ARD), about Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg and the 20 July 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. The film was first broadcast on 25 February 2004 on German TV ( ARD). Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg becomes an enemy of Hitler's policy, because Generalmajor Henning von Tresckow informs him about German war crimes behind the Russian front. On 20 July 1944 he goes with a time bomb in his briefcase to a conference room at Hitler's headquarter Wolfsschanze near Rastenburg in East Prussia. Four people were killed immediately, but Hitler survived. The film was awarded "best film" at the ''Deutscher Fernsehpreis'' (German Television Awards).
