Christian Baumeister
Christian Baumeister (born 24 December 1971 in Münster) is a German cinematographer and award-winning director focusing on nature and wildlife productions. Career Baumeister studied biology in Germany and wildlife filmmaking in the United Kingdom. He lived for eight years in Brazil and he is specialized in filming in Latin America. In 2001 he established his own production company,Light & Shadow GmbH with an office in Münster, Germany. In the past years, Baumeister has garnered international acclaim for his wildlife films, from audiences and critics around the world. His previous projects took him to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. He has established himself with productions on the international television market and works with broadcasters such as ARD, ZDF, BBC, NDR, ARTE, ORF, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian Institution and Channel and the National Geographic Channel. WDR Fernsehen is a German free-to-air television network owned and operated by Westdeutscher Rundfunk and serving North Rhine-Westphalia. It is one of the seven regional "third programmes" television stations that are offered within the federal ARD network. Green Screen Film Festival
The Green Screen international wildlife film festival is held annually in and around Eckernförde, Germany. The festival shows full-length and short nature documentaries about animals in their natural habitat. Around 30,000 visitors make it the largest nature film festival in Europe. The awarded trophy is made of sand. Since 2007 films are shown in cinemas of Eckernförde and on mobile screens in the city and in surrounding locations. In 2008 Inge Sielmann, the widow of Heinz Sielmann, donated a special prize for filmmakers that is endowed with 5,000 Euros. Siegfried Rauch (2 April 1932 – 11 March 2018) was a German film and television actor. In a career spanning over 60 years, he appeared in several international film productions and had leading roles in numerous German television productions. Career Siegfried Rauch was born in Landsberg am Lech, Upper Bavaria. He studied drama at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and also attended private drama lessons. He began performing in theatres in 1958, beginning with Bremen (until 1962), and followed by Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. In the 1970s, Rauch appeared in the 1970 Hollywood film ''Patton'' as Captain Steiger. In ''Le Mans'' (1971), Rauch played the race driver Erich Stahler who is Steve McQueen's rival. SVT2 (SVT Två; commonly referred to as Tvåan), is one of the two main television channels broadcast by Sveriges Television in Sweden.
