Christian A. Koenitzer
Christian August Koenitzer (March 31, 1853 – May 8, 1912) was an American politician and businessman. Born in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Koenizner was educated in the public schools. He was in the real estate business, was a livestock dealer, and wholesale meat dealer. Koenitzer owned a saloon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Wauwatosa (; known informally as Tosa; originally Wau-wau-too-sa or Hart's Mill) is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 48,387 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census. Wauwatosa is located immediately west of Milwaukee, and is a part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. It is named after the Potawatomi Chief Wauwataesie and the Potawatomi word for firefly. Wisconsin State Senate
The Wisconsin Senate is the upper house of the Wisconsin State Legislature. Together with the larger Wisconsin State Assembly they constitute the legislative branch of the state of Wisconsin. The powers of the Wisconsin Senate are modeled after those of the U.S. Senate. The Wisconsin Constitution ties the size of the State Senate to that of the Assembly, by limiting its size to no less than 1/4, nor more than 1/3, of the size of the Assembly.
