Chris Streveler
Christopher L. Streveler (born January 6, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Minnesota and South Dakota. After going undrafted in 2018, Streveler played two seasons as a backup quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL), where they won the 107th Grey Cup championship in 2019. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals. College career Streveler started his college career playing for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, where he played for three years, before transferring to the University of South Dakota. Streveler then played two years with the South Dakota Coyotes. There, he threw for 6,081 yards and 54 touchdowns, earning the MVFC Offensive Player of the Year award in 2017. All-America
The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. The 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season was the highest level college football competition in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Walter Payton Award
The Walter Payton Award is awarded annually to the most outstanding offensive player in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) of college football as chosen by a nationwide panel of media and college sports information directors. The honor was first given in 1987 to the outstanding player in the division, but in 1995, eligibility was restricted to offensive players, as the Buck Buchanan Award for defensive players was inaugurated. The award was named in honor of the late National Football League (NFL) legend Walter Payton, who starred at Jackson State University in the early 1970s. South Dakota Coyotes
The South Dakota Coyotes, also known as the USD Coyotes (locally pronounced ; ), are the athletic teams for the University of South Dakota. Their team colors are vermilion and white. They have been members of Summit League of the NCAA's Division I since the 2011–12 school year.
