Chris Rumble
Chris Rumble (born April 16, 1990) is an Americans, American professional ice hockey defenceman currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played with the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Prior to turning professional, Rumble attended Canisius College where he played three seasons with the Canisius Golden Griffins men's ice hockey team which competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I Atlantic Hockey conference. In his freshman season he helped the Golden Griffins capture the 2012-13 Atlantic Hockey championship, and in his Junior (education year), junior year his outstanding play was rewarded when he was named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Conference First Team. On September 20, 2017, Rumble signed his first European contract in agreeing to a one-year deal with German outfit, the Fischtown Pinguins of the DEL. Deutsche Eishockey Liga
The Deutsche Eishockey Liga (for sponsorship reasons called "PENNY Deutsche Eishockey Liga") (; English: ''German Ice Hockey League'') or DEL, is a German professional ice hockey league and the highest division in German ice hockey. Founded in 1994, it was formed as a replacement for the Eishockey-Bundesliga and became the new top-tier league in Germany as a result. Unlike the old Bundesliga, the DEL is not under the administration of the German Ice Hockey Federation. The DEL is regarded as one of Europe's premier ice hockey divisions behind leagues in Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. The All-Atlantic Hockey Teams are composed of players at all positions from teams that are members of the Atlantic Hockey Association, an NCAA Division I hockey-only conference. Each year, at the conclusion of the Atlantic Hockey regular season, the head coaches of each member team vote for players to be placed on each all-conference team. The First Team, Second Team and Rookie Teams have been named since 2003–04 (the inaugural year of Atlantic Hockey) and a Third Team was added starting in 2006–07. The all-conference teams are composed of one goaltender, two defencemen and three forwards. The 2014 Atlantic Hockey Tournament is the 10th Atlantic Hockey Tournament. It was played between March 7 and March 22, 2014, at campus locations and at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. The winner of the tournament was the Robert Morris Colonials, who earned Atlantic Hockey's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
