Chris Roberts is an American professional skateboarder and host of the podcast '' The Nine Club with Chris Roberts''. Early life Roberts was born in Inglewood, California on August 13, 1976, and raised in Malibu, California. He grew up skateboarding around Los Angeles County and Southern California. Career In 2007, Roberts turned pro for Chocolate Skateboards. In 2009, while filming for Crailtap's "Lil Slice of Life" web clip, Roberts' cat, Garvy, figured prominently in the segment. After becoming an inside joke among sponsored Southern California skateboarders, Roberts's cat was featured on a series of skateboard decks and merchandise for a variety of his sponsors' brands. Christopher Eric Roberts (born June 25, 1971) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played for the Chiba Lotte Marines of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and for the United States national baseball team. Career Roberts attended Middleburg High School in Middleburg, Florida. He competed for the United States national baseball team in the 1989 World Junior Baseball Championships, winning gold. He also appeared in the 1991 Pan American Games, winning the bronze medal with the game-winning hit in the bronze medal game against the Dominican Republic national baseball team. In the tournament, he was named to the All-Tournament Team. Chris Roberts is an English businessman, who served as chairman of Torquay United Football Club between October 2006 and February 2007. He created the '' Wing Commander'' series while at Origin Systems and as of 2011 has been working on the crowdfunded space simulator '' Star Citizen''. Early life Roberts was born in Redwood City, California to a British father and an American mother, and grew up in Manchester, England. He attended Parrs Wood High School, the same school as computer music composer Martin Galway. As a teenager, he created several video games for the BBC Micro, including ''Stryker's Run'', '' Wizadore'', and ''King Kong''. Christopher Roberts (born 1945) is a former British test pilot. Career Royal Air Force He trained at RAF South Cerney in Gloucestershire, RAF Syerston in Nottinghamshire and completed it at RAF Valley in Anglesey North Wales. He flew with the oyal Air Force beginning with 20 Squadron on the Hawker Hunter at RAF Tengah in Singapore from 1966 to 1969. He then returned to RAF Valley as a flying instructor on the Hawker Hunter. He became a member of the Red Arrows from 1971-72. He had flown the Harrier with the RAF, starting with the Harrier Operational Conversion Unit in 1973. Chris Roberts (born Christian Franz Klusáček; 13 March 1944 – 2 July 2017) was a German schlager singer and actor. He was born in Munich-Schwabing and was married to the singer and actress Claudia Roberts; they often performed on stage together. Biography Roberts was most popular as a singer in Germany in the 1970s; he charted there with 24 songs between 1968 and 1980. He also acted in a number of films during that time. He represented Luxembourg as a part of a sextet in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in which they sang "Children, Kinder, Enfants". They earned 37 points and attained 13th position. Chris Ioan Roberts (born 24 April 1985) is an Australian-born actor, writer and director working in London. Chris Douglas Roberts (born January 8, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Memphis. High school career Douglas-Roberts played high school basketball at Cass Technical High School and Northwestern High School. He played for Cass Tech in 2003 and 2004 averaging 28 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. After the 2004 season he transferred to Northwestern where he saw limited time due to transfer rules and didn't join the team until the second semester.
