Chris Regis
Christopher Ethan Regis (born 11 November 1996) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Braintree Town. A former England under-17 international, he spent his youth career with Arsenal and Southampton, before he joined Colchester United in 2015. He left Colchester in January 2017 without making first-team appearance for the club, though he did have a loan spell at Maldon & Tiptree. He enjoyed brief stays at Sittingbourne and Farnborough, before he signed a six-month contract with Port Vale in November 2017. He returned to non-League football with Torquay United in July 2018, before moving on to Truro City via Wealdstone in the 2018–19 season. He later played for Coggeshall Town, Cambridge City, Barton Rovers, Chalfont St Peter and Braintree Town. The England national under-17 football team, also known as England under-17s or England U17(s), represents England in football at an under-17 age level and is controlled by The Football Association, the governing body for football in England. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Southern Football League
The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. Together with the Isthmian League and the Northern Premier League it forms levels seven and eight of the English football league system. The structure of the Southern League has changed several times since its formation in 1894, and currently there are 84 clubs which are divided into four divisions. 2017–18 Southern Football League
The 2017–18 season was the 115th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. It was also the last to have a single Premier Division. From the 2014–15 season onwards, the Southern League is known as Evo-Stik League Southern, following a sponsorship deal with Evo-Stik. The league constitution was announced in May 2017. Colchester Community Stadium
Colchester Community Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as the JobServe Community Stadium, is a football stadium in Colchester, England. It is the home of Colchester United Football Club. It has a capacity of 10,105 and opened in August 2008 in time for the 2008–09 season. A stadium working party was first set up by Colchester Borough Council in 1976 in order to assess the feasibility and possible location for a new stadium for Colchester United. After 30 years of discussions and various site suggestions, a location in the north of Colchester called Cuckoo Farm on land owned by Colchester Borough Council was settled on. Steven John Ball (born 2 September 1969) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. Ball is currently Head of Academy Coaching at League Two club Colchester United. Ball began his career with Arsenal, with whom he won the FA Youth Cup in 1988, but failed to make a first-team appearance for the club. He made his Football League debut with Colchester United, where he had two stints separated by spells with Norwich City and Cambridge United. In a career blighted by injury, Ball made 70 Football League appearances between 1987 and 1996. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional.
