Chris Mitchell (footballer Born 1988)
Christopher Philip Mitchell (21 July 1988 – 7 May 2016) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. Mitchell began his senior career at Scottish Premier League club Falkirk who also loaned him to Ayr United. He then had a season in England with Bradford City before joining Queen of the South in 2012. In his first season at Queens he won the Scottish Challenge Cup and Scottish Football League Second Division. At the end of that season he was named in the division's PFA Scotland Team of the Year. Mitchell had a brief spell at Clyde in 2015–16. Complications from spinal surgery ended his professional career at Queen of the South, and he left Clyde to establish a new career. Mitchell suffered depression due to his change of career and killed himself at a level crossing at the age of 27. Scotland National Under-21 Football Team
The Scotland national under-21 football team, controlled by the Scottish Football Association, is Scotland's national under 21 football team and is considered to be a feeder team for the Scotland national football team. As a European under-21 team, Scotland compete in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, which is usually held every other year. The team has qualified for the final stages of these Championships on six occasions, although not since 1996. There is no global tournament for under-21 national teams. Valley Parade, known as the University of Bradford Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater football stadium in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Built in 1886, it was the home of Manningham Rugby Football Club until 1903, when they changed code from rugby football to association football and became Bradford City. Mark Stewart (born 22 June 1988) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a striker. A youth player at Celtic and Partick Thistle, he has played for Falkirk, Bradford City, Dundee, Kilmarnock, Derry City, Raith Rovers, Dumbarton, Stirling Albion, Stranraer and Hamilton Academical. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap.
