Chris Lee Chun Kit
Chris Lee Chun Kit ( zh, s=李俊杰, t=李俊傑, p=Lǐ Jùnjié, poj=Lí Chùn-kia̍t, born 15 July 1982) is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Pulau Tikus from May 2018 to August 2023. He also served as Member of the Penang Island City Council from 2013 to April 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. Personal life Lee was born in George Town, Penang on 15 July 1982, the first born son of George and Betty Lee (née Chan). He has a younger sister, Lee Yen Ling, who was diagnosed with autism at an early age. Penang State Legislative Assembly
The Penang State Legislative Assembly is the legislature of the Malaysian state of Penang. It is a unicameral institution, consisting of a total of 40 elected lawmakers representing single-member constituencies throughout Penang. The state legislature, whose members are called State Assemblymen, convenes at the Penang State Assembly Building in Penang's capital city of George Town. The Penang State Executive Council, the executive branch of the Penang state government, is drawn from among the State Assemblymen. Out of the 40 seats, 33 are held by the Pakatan Harapan (PH) ruling coalition after the 2018 State Election. 2004 Malaysian General Election
A general election was held on Sunday, 21 March 2004 for members of the 11th Parliament of Malaysia. Voting took place in all 219 parliamentary constituencies of Malaysia, each electing one Member of Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat, the dominant house of Parliament. 2013 Penang State Election
The 13th Penang election was held on 5 May 2013. Polling took place in 40 constituencies throughout the State of Penang, with each electing a State Assemblyman to the Penang State Legislative Assembly. The election was conducted by the Malaysian Election Commission. The legislative body had been dissolved on 5 April by the Governor of Penang, Abdul Rahman Abbas, on the advice of the incumbent Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng, who also led the state's ruling coalition, Pakatan Rakyat (PR).
