Chris Lamborn
Christopher John Lamborn (3 April 1916 – 7 August 1992) was an Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne, South Melbourne and St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Lamborn was recruited from Rochester in the Bendigo Football League in 1938. Rochester is a small town in rural Victoria, Australia. It is located north of Melbourne with a mixture of rural and semi-rural communities on the northern Campaspe River, between Bendigo and the Murray River port of Echuca. History The area around the Campaspe River was known as Yalooka, which for thousands of years was home to the Pinpandoor, the local tribe of Aboriginal Australians. The Rochester Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Tigers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club, formed at a meeting held on 8 June 1874 at Tidy's Restdown Hotel.
