Chris Humbert
Christopher A. Humbert (born December 27, 1969 in Modesto, California) is a former water polo center forward from the United States, who competed in three Summer Olympics ( 1992, 1996 and 2000) for his native country. He was part of the United States national team squads that won the gold medal in the 1991 FINA World Cup in Barcelona and the gold medal in the 1997 FINA World Cup in Athens. At club level, he played overseas in Italy and Greece. From 1992 to 1994 he played for Italian giants Posillipo, with whom he won 2 Italian Championships. In 2002–03 season, he played for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos, with whom he won the LEN Super Cup, the Greek Championship and the Greek Cup. In 2018, he was inducted into the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame. Greek Water Polo Cup
The Greek Water Polo cup is the second most important competition of Greece, Greek men's waterpolo and is organised by Hellenic Swimming Federation, KOE (Hellenic Swimming Federation). It was first held in 1953. Initially started as a competition in memory of Pantelis Psychas, Greek athlete of the swimming. The competition was interrupted from 1959 to 1983. Moreover, it wasn't held in 1993-94 season. From 1998-99 season the Final Four system was instituted. Olympiacos Water Polo Club, Olympiacos Piraeus have won the most titles (23), followed by Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club, Ethnikos Piraeus (12). The LEN Super Cup is an annual water polo match organized by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two European club competitions, the LEN Champions League and the LEN Euro Cup. From 1976 to 2002, the LEN Super Cup was contested between the winners of the European Champions Cup/LEN Champions League and the winners of the LEN Cup Winners' Cup.
