Chris Hartley
Christopher Desmond Hartley (born 24 May 1982) is an Australian cricketer who played for Queensland in Australian domestic cricket between 2002 and 2016. He was the team's first-choice wicket-keeper and won two Sheffield Shield titles with the team. Hartley was born at Nambour, Queensland and educated at Brisbane Boys' College where he was College Captain in 1999. He played as a hard-hitting left-handed batsman and became the first from his state since Matthew Hayden to score a debut century, making 103 against South Australia in 2003–04. On 21 September 2005, he took part in Australia A's tour of Pakistan. He was part of Queensland's Pura Cup winning side for 2005–06 and took seven catches in the final to finish with a tally for the season of 53 dismissals. 2016–17 Sheffield Shield Season
The 2016–17 Sheffield Shield season was the 115th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition in Australia. It started on 25 October 2016 and finished on 30 March 2017. There was a break between December and January for the Big Bash League. The first round of matches were played as day/night games in preparation for Australia's day/night Test match against Pakistan on 15 December 2016. A second day/night round of fixtures took place in round five of the tournament. Victoria qualified for the final after their 8 wicket win against Western Australia in round 9 of the competition. Victoria secured a home tie in the final, with an innings victory against Queensland in round 10. Darren Berry
Darren Shane Berry (born 10 December 1969) is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer who was known for his sharp skills as a wicketkeeper, first with South Australia and then Victoria in the Sheffield Shield and ING Cup domestic competitions. He led the Redbacks to the first premiership win in 2010 of the BBL. Berry was the head coach of the South Australia cricket team for 5 years. Including the Adelaide Strikers in the BBL Tournament. Since then Berry has been assistant coach to Dean Jones in the Pakistan Super League since 2017.
