Chris Edwards (Canadian Football)
Christopher Edwards (born December 23, 1992) is a retired professional Canadian football defensive back, who most recently played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). College career Edwards first played college football for the Grand Rapids Raiders in 2011 where the team finished with an 11–0 record. After Grand Rapids cancelled their football program, he transferred to Butte College in 2012 where the team finished 12–0. He then transferred again to play for the Idaho Vandals where he completed his junior and senior years in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Professional career Oakland Raiders After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Edwards signed with the Oakland Raiders on May 16, 2016. Idaho Vandals
The Idaho Vandals are the intercollegiate athletic teams representing the University of Idaho, located in Moscow. The Vandals compete at the NCAA Division I level as a member of the Big Sky Conference. The football team was an independent for the 2013 season due to a major wave of departures from the Western Athletic Conference that left just two football-playing schools. In July 2014, Idaho returned its football team to the Sun Belt Conference and the other sports rejoined the Big Sky Conference. McLeod John Baltazar Bethel-Thompson (born July 3, 1988) is an American professional football quarterback for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). 2018 Edmonton Eskimos Season
The Edmonton Eskimos season was the 61st season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 70th overall. This was the third season under head coach Jason Maas and the second season under general manager Brock Sunderland. The team began the season with a 6–3 win–loss record, but after losing six of the following eight games, the Eskimos were eliminated from the playoffs during their week 20 bye after Winnipeg defeated Calgary to claim the final playoff spot. The Thanksgiving Day Classic (french: Classique de jour de l'Action de grâce) is an annual doubleheader held on Thanksgiving in the Canadian Football League (CFL). It is typically one of two days in which the league plays on a Monday afternoon; the other is the Labour Day Classic.
