Chris Danou
Christopher H. Danou is a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, who represented the 92nd Assembly District, first elected in 2008. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He lost his bid for reelection in 2016. Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Danou graduated from Columbus High School in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He earned a BA in History from University of Wisconsin–Madison, an MA in International Relations, the American University, and an MS in Wildlife Biology from University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. He was a Police Officer in Onalaska, Wisconsin, President of the Onalaska Professional Police Association and a member of the County Emergency Response Team (SWAT Unit) and the Metropolitan Enforcement Group. Barbara "Bobby" Gronemus (née Barry; November 21, 1931January 17, 2021) was an American farmer and Democratic politician from Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. She served 26 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, from 1983 to 2009. Biography Barbara Gronemus was born Barbara Barry in Norwalk, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ontario Public High School. She was a farmer/farm wife and was a nursing home activity director. Gronemus lived in Whitehall, Wisconsin, with her husband and family. Wildlife refers to domestication, undomesticated animal species (biology), species, but has come to include all organisms that grow or live wilderness, wild in an area without being species, introduced by humans. Onalaska is a city in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 18,803 at the 2020 census. It borders the larger La Crosse, Wisconsin, and is a part of the La Crosse-Onalaska, WI-MN Metropolitan Area. Onalaska is built on a slightly elevated ridge above the Black River. Natural areas include both river bottom land and high, heavily wooded, scenic Hill, bluffs. A man-made reservoir at the city's western edge is known as Lake Onalaska. The University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point (UW–Stevens Point or UWSP) is a public university in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Established in 1894, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. UW-Stevens Point grants associate, baccalaureate, and master's degrees, as well as doctoral degrees in audiology, educational sustainability, and physical therapy.
