Chris Burke-Gaffney
Chris Burke-Gaffney aka "CBG" is a Canadian songwriter, producer, and artist manager. Burke-Gaffney also oversees the day-to-day operation of CBG Artist Development. History Burke-Gaffney started his career as singer/bassist for The Pumps (Polygram). He signed his first record deal as a teenager and toured with acts like Triumph, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC. In his early twenties, he wrote his first top-ten single, "Miracle", for Orphan. His early songs continue to receive heavy airplay on classic rock radio. Chris formed CBG Artist Development to manage and develop singer/songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk. He co-wrote / produced her Juno Award-winning and triple-platinum album, ''Under These Rocks and Stones''. He also acted as her manager and partnered with The Peter Asher Mgmnt firm in LA. Polygram
PolyGram N.V. was a multinational entertainment company and major music record label formerly based in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1962 as the Grammophon-Philips Group by Dutch corporation Philips and German corporation Siemens, to be a holding for their record companies, and was renamed "PolyGram" in 1972. The name was chosen to reflect the Siemens interest Polydor Records and the Philips interest Phonogram Records. Triumph (band)
Triumph was a Canadian hard rock band formed in 1975 that was popular in the late 1970s and the 1980s, building on its reputation and success as a live band. McMaster & James was a Canadian soul/pop "boy band" music duo from Winnipeg, Manitoba. History Luke McMaster (born 22 March 1976) and Rob James (born 30 October 1977) met in 1997 through Winnipeg-based producer Chris Burke-Gaffney and began collaborating as Two Face, later performing and recording under their combined names. Their gold, self-titled debut CD, released in February 2000 on ViK.
