Chris Baldwin (cyclist)
Chris Baldwin (born October 15, 1975) is an American former professional cyclist. He has won the United States National Time Trial Championships on two occasions, in 2003 and 2005. After retiring Baldwin became a cycling coach for TrainingPeaks. 2012 Tour Of California
The 2012 Amgen Tour of California was the seventh running of the Tour of California cycling stage race. It was held from May 13–20, and was rated as a 2.HC event on the UCI America Tour. It began in Santa Rosa and concluded in front of Los Angeles's Staples Center after eight stages. As per the Union Cycliste Internationale rules adopted in 2011, the use of race radios was prohibited, since only the events which are designated UCI World Tour events can use the devices. 2004 Tour Of Britain
The 2004 Tour of Britain was the first edition of the latest version of the Tour of Britain. It took place over five days in early September 2004, organised by SweetSpot in collaboration with British Cycling, and was the first Tour of Britain to be held since 1999. Sponsored by the organisers of London's 2012 Olympics bid, it attracted teams such as and . It was designated a 2.3 category race on the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) calendar. The tour climaxed with a criterium in London, where an estimated 100,000 spectators saw a long break by Bradley Wiggins last until the penultimate lap, before Enrico Degano of Team Barloworld took the sprint on the line. The Tour of the Gila is a cycling stage race for both men and women located in New Mexico, United States. It is sponsored by the component maker SRAM. The "Gila" began in 1987. Beginning in 2012, the men's Gila has been added to the UCI America Tour as a UCI classification 2.2 stage race, which permits UCI ProTeams to enter if they so choose; beginning in 2015, the women's Gila has also been added to the women's UCI international tour as a UCI classification 2.2 stage race. Beginning in Silver City, New Mexico, the men's course covers around over five days, while the women's course covers about less.
