ChrisCross
Christopher Williams, who goes by ChrisCross, is a comic book illustrator, known mostly for his stints pencilling Milestone Comics' ''Blood Syndicate'' and ''Heroes'', Marvel Comics' '' Captain Marvel'' and '' Slingers'' and DC Comics' ''Firestorm''. Education and career Williams attended New York City's School of Visual Arts in the early 1990s. While doing so, he caught his big break doing work for the DC Comics imprint, Milestone Comics, which sought to publish a line of comics aimed at attracting a more multicultural audience. He has also worked on other series such as ''Firestorm'' and '' The Outsiders'' for DC comics. In the early 2000s he worked on a series of hardcover graphic novels for international publishing house, Humanoids, Inc., before returning to the States to continue American comics, starting on ''Midnighter'' #11. Midnighter (2006 Comic Book)
''Midnighter'' is an American American comic books, comic book series published by WildStorm, first issued in November 2006. It is a Spin-off (media), spin-off from ''The Authority (comics), The Authority'' (which is itself a spin-off from ''Stormwatch (comics), Stormwatch''), a superhero team comic book created by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch, and follows the solo adventures of Midnighter, "the greatest tactician in the history of mankind". The first six issues were written by Garth Ennis, followed by three issues made by different writers; the last eleven final issues were written by Keith Giffen. Blood Syndicate
The Blood Syndicate is a fictional multicultural vigilante gang of superhumans created by Milestone Comics and published by DC Comics. The team first appeared in ''Blood Syndicate'' #1 (April 1993), and was created by Dwayne McDuffie, Ivan Velez Jr. and Denys Cowan. Publication history In Milestone Comics' fictional city of Dakota, the Blood Syndicate is a loose affiliation of super-powered individuals brought together by circumstance; 35 issues of their eponymous comic book, written largely by Ivan Velez, Jr., were published between 1993 and 1996. The Blood Syndicate differed from other supergroups in that they were (in Velez's words) "not a team - they're a gang". Milestone Media is a company best known for creating Milestone Comics, which were published and distributed by DC Comics and the ''Static Shock'' animated series. It was founded in 1993 by a coalition of African-American artists and writers, consisting of Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis and Derek T. Dingle. The founders felt that minorities were severely underrepresented in American comics and wished to address this. History Development Christopher Priest participated in the early planning stages of Milestone Media, and was originally slated to become the editor-in-chief of the new company, but left the endeavor for personal reasons before any of Milestone's titles were published. ''Heroes'' is a comic about the titular team of fictional superheroes, published by DC Comics and created by Matt Wayne and ChrisCross. Publication history It was originally intended as a replacement in the Milestone Comics line-up for ''Shadow Cabinet (comics), Shadow Cabinet'', which was not selling well. The series took several of the Shadow Cabinet's more appealing members and put them in a more traditional superhero team, along with Static (DC Comics), Static, a popular solo character. Captain Marvel (Marvel Comics)
Captain Marvel is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Most of these versions exist in Marvel's main shared universe, known as the Marvel Universe. Firestorm is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein fused together debuted as the first incarnation in ''Firestorm, the Nuclear Man'' #1 (March 1978) and were created by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom. Jason Rusch debuted as a modern update of the character in ''Firestorm'' (vol. 3) #1 (July 2004), and was created by Dan Jolley and ChrisCross. The Slingers are a group of fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They starred in their own eponymous short-lived comic book. Fictional team history The Slingers were four teenage superheroes who had been inspired by Spider-Man. The group first appeared in ''Slingers'' #0, a free promotional comic book included in an issue of ''Wizard''. Aircel Comics (Aircel Publishing) was a comic book publisher founded by Barry Blair, in Ottawa, Ontario in 1985. In 1988, it merged with American publisher Eternity Comics, itself an imprint of Malibu Comics, and in the late 1980s was taken over by Malibu before ceasing publication in 1994. It was best known as the original publisher of '' The Men in Black'', a comic book which was later adapted into a media franchise. Roland Mann
Roland (; frk, *Hrōþiland; lat-med, Hruodlandus or ''Rotholandus''; it, Orlando or ''Rolando''; died 15 August 778) was a Frankish military leader under Charlemagne who became one of the principal figures in the literary cycle known as the Matter of France. Steven Butler
Steven Butler is an American comic book artist. He is known both for penciling the Archie Comics series ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' as well as creating new designs for Archie characters in 2007. Career Butler's work ranges from inking and providing occasional cover duties for '' Cat and Mouse'' to superhero illustrations in the original ''Silver Storm'' mini-series to publications such as Marvel Comics' ''Web of Spider-Man'' and ''Silver Sable''.
