Chou Hsi-wei
Chou Hsi-wei (, born 11 March 1958) Taiwanese politician. He was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 1999 to 2005. He then served as Taipei County Magistrate from 2005 to 2010. Chou worked for James Soong and was a member of Soong's People First Party until joining the Kuomintang in 2005. Education Chou earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Fu Jen Catholic University and master's degree in business administration and public administration from University of Southern California in the United States. Political career Chou served two terms on the Legislative Yuan before he was elected as the Magistrate of Taipei County in the 2005 Republic of China local election held on 3 December 2005 and took office on 20 December 2005. The Mayor of New Taipei is the chief political executive of the city of New Taipei in Taiwan. The mayor, a new position created when the predecessor entity of New Taipei, Taipei County, was elevated to a special municipality in 2010, is elected to a four-year term. Chang Ya-chung (; born December 1954) is a Taiwanese political scientist. He founded the in 2004 and was elected to the National Assembly (Republic of China), National Assembly in 2005, but resigned on the first day to protest the parliament's formation. Han Kuo-yu
Daniel Han Kuo-yu (; born 17 June 1957) is a Taiwanese politician. He was a member of the Legislative Yuan from 1993 to 2002, representing a portion of Taipei County for three terms. He later became general manager of Taipei Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation. In 2017, Han contested the Kuomintang chairmanship, losing to Wu Den-yih. Han was elected Mayor of Kaohsiung in November 2018, and became the first Kuomintang politician since Wu in 1998 to hold the office.
