Chory Castro
Gonzalo "Chory" Castro Irizábal (born 14 September 1984) is a Uruguayan professional Association football, footballer who plays for Club Atlético River Plate (Montevideo) as a Midfielder#Winger, left winger. He started his career at Club Nacional de Football, Nacional, but played mostly in La Liga after arriving in Spain at the age of 22, totalling 296 matches for RCD Mallorca, Mallorca, Real Sociedad and Málaga CF, Málaga over 11 seasons and scoring 41 goals. Gonzalo Castro Randón (born 11 June 1987) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is also a former Germany international. Club career Bayer Leverkusen Born in Wuppertal to Spanish parents, he began his career with Post SV Wuppertal. Other clubs during his youth were Viktoria Rott and SV Bayer Wuppertal. In 1999, he moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. At 17, he played his first game for the Leverkusen senior team in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League. The 2010–11 UEFA Europa League was the second season of the UEFA Europa League, Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 40th edition overall including its predecessor, the UEFA Cup. Fernando Varela (Spanish Footballer)
Fernando Varela Ramos (born 1 September 1979) is a Spanish retired footballer. Mainly a right midfielder, he could also operate as an attacking right-back, being noted for his long-range strikes. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
