Lahan Sai District
Lahan Sai ( th, ละหานทราย, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the southern part of Buriram province, northeastern Thailand. History Lahan Sai area was originally part of Nang Rong district. The area was fertile and covered by dense forest, so people from neighboring districts moved to establish new village there. When the community grew bigger, the government created a minor district (''king amphoe'') on 1 January 1961 to make it more comfortable for the citizen to reach public services. The new district covered ''tambons'' Lahan Sai and Pakham. It was upgraded to a full district on 17 July 1963. Etymology Lahan Sai means "plain fertile width hog deer" (''Axis porcinus''). Luknimit Singklongsi ( th, ลูกนิมิต สิงห์คลองสี่) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Luknimit started Muay Thai at only 6 years old, inspired by his oldest brother who was already well-known at the time. Born into the Popiam family, he has four brothers, all of whom were accomplished boxers. His oldest brother, Charnsak Singklongsi was a Lumpinee Stadium Champion at 108 lbs and beat Saenchai multiple times. Another brother, Taweesak Singklongsi was a Lumpinee Stadium Champion and S1 World Champion at 108 lbs. Taweesak's twin, Taweeporn was a boxing Champion of Hong Kong. Mongkolpetch Petchyindee Academy ( th, มงคลเพชร เพชรยินดีอะคาเดมี่) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography and career Mongkolpetch grew up in a family of farmers in Roi Et province. His older brother loved boxing since childhood and he often secretly followed him to practice. At 10 years old he had his first fight and received a purse he gave to his parents to support the family. He started his fighting career under the ring name Mongkoldetlek and represented the Panyawai camp until he was bought by the Kesa Gym camp for 200,000 baht in 2014. Mongkoldetlek had good results which led him to be fighting under the prestigious Kiatpetch promotion at Lumpinee Stadium. Rangsit Stadium ( th, สนามมวยนานาชาติเวทีมวย​รังสิต) is a stadium, organizer, TV Show and live broadcaster of Muay Thai events in Rangsit. The struggles of the Rangsit Stadium are approved by WMC (World Boxing Council Muaythai) ranking. Rangsit Stadium also hosts IFMA events.
