Chonma County
Ch'ŏnma County is a ''kun'', or county, in northwestern North P'yŏngan province, North Korea. It borders Kusŏng city and Taegwan county to the east, Sonch'ŏn and Tongrim counties to the south, Ŭiju and P'ihyŏn counties to the west, and Sakchu county to the north. It was created in 1952 from parts of Kusŏng and Ŭiju. Geography There are abundant mountains, with the Ch'ŏnma and Munsu ranges both traversing the county. The highest peak is Ch'ŏnmasan, 1169 m. The Ch'ŏnmasan region provides habitat for a variety of animals, and has been designated an animal protection area. The county lies in the Yalu River basin; major tributaries draining the county include the Samgyoch'ŏn and the Kojin and Ch'ŏnma Rivers; these have been dammed to create Manp'ung Lake as well as the Taeha Reservoir, the water from which is used to water the plains along the Yellow Sea. Sakchu County
Sakju County is a ''kun'', or county, in northern part of North P'yŏngan province, in North Korea. It lies along the Yalu River bordering the People's Republic of China to the north. Within North Korea, it borders Ch'angsŏng to the east, Ch'ŏnma and Taegwan to the south, and Ŭiju to the west. Geography The Kangnam Mountains rise in the southeast of Sakju with its highest peak Munsan at 1046 m. The overall terrain is rugged, with only 13% of the county's area under cultivation, as compared to 80% which is forested. North Korea is located in East Asia in the Northern half of Korea, partially on the Korean Peninsula. It borders three countries: China along the Yalu (Amnok) River, Russia along the Tumen River, and South Korea to the south. Yellow Sea
The Yellow Sea is a marginal sea of the Western Pacific Ocean located between mainland China and the Korean Peninsula, and can be considered the northwestern part of the East China Sea. It is one of four seas named after common colour terms (the others being the Black Sea, the Red Sea and the White Sea), and its name is descriptive of the golden-yellow colour of the silt-laden water discharged from major rivers. The innermost bay of northwestern Yellow Sea is called the Bohai Sea (previously Pechihli Bay or Chihli Bay), into which flow some of the most important rivers of northern China, such as the Yellow River (through Shandong province and its capital Jinan), the Hai River (through Beijing and Tianjin) and the Liao River (through Liaoning province). Taeha Reservoir
Berry Good () was a South Korean girl group formed by Asia Bridge Entertainment in 2014. The group's final line-up consisted of Johyun and Sehyung with former members being Subin, Iera, Nayeon, Daye, Taeha, Seoyul and Gowoon. They released their debut single ''Love Letter'' on May 21, 2014. They officially disbanded on May 12, 2021. Yalu River
The Yalu River, known by Koreans as the Amrok River or Amnok River, is a river on the border between North Korea and China. Together with the Tumen River to its east, and a small portion of Paektu Mountain, the Yalu forms the border between North Korea and China. Its valley became the scene of several military conflicts in the past centuries. Name Two theories are given regarding the origin of the river's name. One theory is that the name derived from ''Yalu ula'' () in the Manchu language. The Manchu word ''yalu'' () means "the boundary between two countries". In Mandarin Chinese, phonetically approximates the original Manchu word, but literally means "duck green", which was said to have been once the color of the river.
