Daniel Wa Wai How (; born 25 July 1988) is a Malaysian politician. He is a member of Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a major component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Wa originally from Bentong, Pahang after having graduated in Economy Studies at the National University of Malaysia (UKM), was the personal assistant to Lee Chee Leong, the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Kampar, Perak. 2018 Perak State Election
The 14th Perak State election was held on 9 May 2018. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. Each of the state assemblymen are elected to a five year term each. The Perak State Legislative Assembly automatically dissolved on 28 June 2018, the fifth anniversary of the first sitting, and elections were required to be held within sixty days (two months) of the dissolution (on or before 28 August 2018, with the date to be decided by the Election Commission), unless dissolved prior to that date by the Head of State (Sultan of Perak) on the advice of the Head of Government (Menteri Besar of Perak). Leong Cheok Keng is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly for Malim Nawar from May 2013 until November 2022. Currently he is a member of WARISAN, which he joined on 3 November 2022.
