Chong Yee Fatt
Chong Yee Fatt is a Malaysian football manager He is current manager of Malaysia Super League club Penang. A former football player who plays for Perak FA in the 1980s, Yee Fatt has coached in his former team Perak, DRB-HICOM FC and Kuala Lumpur. Yee Fatt has been announced as the new Perak head coach in February 2021, after the club has parted way with their former head coach Mehmet Duraković. After the team's poor performance in the league, which saw Perak in the 2021 Malaysia Super League relegation zone, Yee Fatt was relieved of his duty as head coach on 2 August. His assistant Shahril Nizam took charge of the team until the end of the season which saw Perak relegated for the first time after 28 years, although Yee Fatt were still employed with the team until the end of his contract in November 2021. 2021 Malaysia Super League
The 2021 Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia 2021), was the 18th season of the Malaysia Super League, the top-tier professional football league in Malaysia. The defending champions from the 2020 Malaysia Super League season, Johor Darul Ta'zim, have managed to defend their title, securing their 8th consecutive title (since 2014) on 28 August 2021 although having 2 more matches left. On the other hand, Kedah who became the runner-ups have qualified to the 2022 AFC Cup. Penang who got third was a standby team for the AFC Cup and would qualify if the winners of the 2021 Malaysia Cup went to the Johor or Kedah, but they failed to and Kuala Lumpur City who became the champions ended up taking the spot. Mehmet Duraković ( sq, Mehmet Duraku, born 13 October 1965) is an Australian football coach and former player. Born in Titograd, Yugoslavia, now Podgorica, Montenegro, he spent his playing career as a defender for several clubs in the Australian National Soccer League (NSL), with a brief stint in Malaysia with Selangor FA. The Malaysia Super League ( ms, Liga Super Malaysia) is the men's top professional football division of the Malaysian football league system.
