Chomper
This is a list of characters in ''The Land Before Time'', a series of animated feature films. The main characters include Littlefoot (''Apatosaurus''), Cera (''Triceratops''), Ducky ('' Saurolophus''), Petrie (''Pteranodon''), Spike (''Stegosaurus''), and in the spin-off television series and the fourteenth movie, Chomper (''Tyrannosaurus'') and Ruby (''Oviraptor''). Creation and development The idea for ''The Land Before Time'' came during production of ''An American Tail''. The Land Before Time
''The Land Before Time'' is an American animated film series and media franchise created by Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss, distributed by Universal Pictures and centered on dinosaurs. The series began in 1988 with the eponymous ''The Land Before Time'', directed and produced by Don Bluth and executive produced by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. It was followed by 13 direct-to-video musical sequels, a TV series, video games, soundtracks, and related merchandising. Neither the sequels nor the series involve the participation of Bluth, Lucas, or Spielberg. All 14 films were released as a Complete Collection DVD set on June 14, 2016. Bambi (character)
Bambi is the title character in Felix Salten's 1923 novel, ''Bambi, a Life in the Woods'', and its sequel, ''Bambi's Children'', as well as the Disney animated films ''Bambi'' and ''Bambi II''. The character also appears in Salten's novels '' Perri'' and '' Fifteen Rabbits''. Early German-language editions of the novels were illustrated by Hans Bertle. In the films, Bambi's species was changed from a roe deer to a white-tailed deer, which would be more familiar to American audiences. Brachiosaurus
''Brachiosaurus'' () is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic, about 154to 150million years ago. It was first described by American paleontologist Elmer S. Riggs in 1903 from fossils found in the Colorado River valley in western Colorado, United States. Riggs named the dinosaur ''Brachiosaurus altithorax''; the generic name is Greek for "arm lizard", in reference to its proportionately long arms, and the specific name means "deep chest". ''Brontosaurus'' (; meaning "thunder lizard" from Greek , "thunder" and , "lizard") is a genus of gigantic quadruped sauropod dinosaurs.
