Chom Rat Chong Charoen
Chom Rat Chong Charoen ( th, จอมราชจงเจริญ, lit: Long live the great king) was the royal and national anthem of Rattanakosin Kingdom. History In 1855, there were two captains, Thomas George Knox and Captain Impey. They both arrived in Rattanakosin and both brought the song "God Save the King", which is a song in honour of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom to Siam. New lyrics were written in English in honour of the King Rama V, which has shown significant evidence ithe Siam Recorder Later, Phraya Sisunthonwohan changed the lyrics in Siam dialect to the poetics of the poem, Quite by naming the new song "Chom Rat Chong Charoen". Relinquishment When King Rama V visited British Singapore in 1871, 'God Save the King' was played and it was realised that the song is both the national anthem of Britain and Siam. Sansoen Phra Narai
"Sansoen Phra Narai" ( th, สรรเสริญพระนารายณ์) is a music composition based on a notated piece found in Simon de la Loubère's records of the French embassy to the Kingdom of Ayutthaya in 1687, originally titled in the English version as "A Siamese Song". King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) had a modern arrangement made by Michel Fusco in 1897, and used it as a royal anthem. The piece was arranged as the title song for the 1941 film '' King of the White Elephant'', under the name "Si Ayutthaya". This arrangement was also used in the 2017 TV series , and the march composition was used in the royal funeral of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) the same year. Phra Phutthaloetla Naphalai ( th, พระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัย, 24 February 1767 – 21 July 1824), personal name Chim ( th, ฉิม), also styled as Rama II, was the second monarch of Siam under the Chakri dynasty, ruling from 1809 to 1824. In 1809, Itsarasunthon succeeded his father Rama I, the founder of Chakri dynasty, as Loetlanaphalai the King of Siam. His reign was largely peaceful, devoid of major conflicts. His reign was known as the "Golden Age of Rattanakosin Literature" as Loetlanaphalai was patron to a number of poets in his court and the King himself was a renowned poet and artist.
