"Chodź, pomaluj mój świat" (English: "Come (On,) Paint My World") is a 1971 song by Polish band 2 Plus 1. Song information "Chodź, pomaluj mój świat" was composed by Janusz Kruk, the leader of the band, and the lyrics were written by Marek Dutkiewicz, a popular Polish lyricist and journalist. The song was written and performed as early as 1971, but it was not officially released until 1972, when it appeared on a cardboard record, a popular format in the pre-1990s Poland, and subsequently on the band's debut LP, '' Nowy wspaniały świat''. ''Nowy wspaniały świat'' (English: ''The New Magnificent World'') is the debut studio album by Polish group 2 Plus 1, released in 1972 by Polskie Nagrania Muza. It contained some of the band's greatest hits: "Chodź, pomaluj mój świat", "Czerwone słoneczko", "Hej dogonię lato" and "Wstawaj szkoda dnia". The album turned out a huge commercial success and was certified Gold in Poland for selling in over 150,000 copies. It was re-released on CD twice: in 1995, with a slightly altered cover and 5 bonus tracks, and in 2001, retaining the original cover and standard track listing. Janusz Kruk
Janusz Kruk (7 August 1946 – 18 June 1992) was a Polish singer, guitarist and composer, the leader of the popular band 2 Plus 1. Career Kruk went to a musical school in Warsaw, where he learned to play double bass. At the end of the 1960s, he founded the band Warszawskie Kuranty, a member of whose was also Elżbieta Dmoch. In January 1971, Janusz and Elżbieta formed a new group, 2 Plus 1, which would become highly successful in Poland in the 1970s and the first half of the 1980s. On the turn of decades the band scored a number of minor hits in Western Europe and Japan, and released two albums internationally. Kruk had been the leader of the band until his death in the early 1990s. Cardboard Record
A cardboard record was a type of cheaply made phonograph record made of plastic-coated thin paperboard. These discs were usually small, had poor audio quality compared to vinyl or acetate discs, and were often only marginally playable due to their light weight, slick surface, and tendency to warp like a taco shell. Playability could be improved by placing a coin between the lock groove and the spindle hole to add weight and stability. Blow molding (or moulding) is a manufacturing process for forming hollow plastic parts. It is also used for forming glass bottles or other hollow shapes. In general, there are three main types of blow molding: extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, and injection stretch blow molding. The blow molding process begins with softening plastic by heating a preform or parison. The parison is a tube-like piece of plastic with a hole in one end through which compressed air can enter. The plastic workpiece is then clamped into a mold and air is blown into it. The air pressure inflates the plastic which conforms to the mold.
