Neuilly Sa Mère !
''Neuilly Yo Mama!'' or ''Neuilly sa mère !'' () is a 2009 French comedy film directed by . It stars Samy Seghir as a ''beur'' teenager who moves from the housing projects to the upscale neighbourhood of Neuilly-sur-Seine. Because of its use of social inequality as a comedic device, it has been compared to the 1988 French comedy ''Life is a Long Quiet River'' (''La vie est un long fleuve tranquille''). A word-for-word translation of the film's title is "Neuilly his/her mother!". The title is a play on the vulgar French insult ''nique ta mère'' ("Screw your mother"), in which ''Neuilly'' effectively serves as a euphemism. There is a sequel, '' Neuilly sa mère, sa mère!'' Plot Fourteen-year-old Sami (Samy Seghir) is a ''beur'' (a French person of Maghrebi descent) living in Chalon-sur-Saône, a relatively poor city in the Burgundy region. When his widowed mother (Farida Khelfa) takes a job working on a boat, she sends Sami to live with her sister Djamila (Rachida Brakni), w ...

Verso (film)
'''' is the "right" or "front" side and ''verso'' is the "left" or "back" side when text is written or printed on a leaf of paper () in a bound item such as a codex, book, broadsheet, or pamphlet. Etymology The terms are shortened from Latin: and ' (which translate as "on the right side of the leaf" and "on the back side of the leaf"). The two opposite pages themselves are called ' and ' in Latin, and the ablative ', ' already imply that the text on the page (and not the physical page itself) are referred to. Usage In codicology, each physical sheet (', abbreviated ''fol.'' or ''f.'') of a manuscript is numbered, and the sides are referred to as ' and ', abbreviated as ''r'' and ''v'' respectively. Editions of manuscripts will thus mark the position of text in the original manuscript in the form ''fol. 1r'', sometimes with the ''r'' and ''v'' in superscript, as in ''1r'', or with a superscript ''o'' indicating the ablative ', ', as in ''1ro''. This terminology has been stan ...

L'Autre Dumas
''Dumas'' (original title: ''L'Autre Dumas'') is a 2010 French film directed by Safy Nebbou about 19th-century French author Alexandre Dumas. Plot In February 1848, Alexandre Dumas (Gérard Depardieu) is at the height of his fame. He has withdrawn for a few days into the immense Château de Monte-Cristo near Le Port-Marly, that he is building. There he works with his collaborator, Auguste Maquet (Benoît Poelvoorde). If the books bear Dumas' name, the tiring work undertaken by Maquet is colossal. Nevertheless, for ten years, Maquet has remained in the great man's shadow and never challenged his supremacy. When a quarrel breaks out between the two men, after Maquet passes himself off as Dumas in order to seduce Charlotte (Mélanie Thierry), a crucial question presents itself: what is the exact part each man has in the work's success? Who is the ''father '' of d'Artagnan, and of '' Monte Cristo''? In short, who is really the author? Their formerly peaceful relationship is now in dou ...
