Chloritis Talabensis
''Chloritis talabensis'' is a species of air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial animal, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Camaenidae. Distribution The type locality (biology), type locality is ''Balante auf Celebes'', Sulawesi, Indonesia. The species was described after only one specimen (“ein schönes Stück”), holotype by monotypy stored in the Staatliche Naturhistorische Sammlungen Dresden, Staatliches Museum für Tierkunde Dresden, Museum für Tierkunde, Dresden, Germany, number 10198. The species has been never recorded again since its discovery. Shell description The gastropod shell, shell is of moderate size for the genus, brown, with hairs, spire (mollusc), spire somewhat elevated, umbilicated, the ends of the peristome connected with a thin callus. Wilhelm Kobelt
Wilhelm Kobelt (20 February 1840 – 26 March 1916) was a German zoologist born in Alsfeld, Grand Duchy of Hesse. He specialized in the field of malacology. Kobelt is remembered for his work as curator of the Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt am Main. Several species of mollusk contain his name, including '' Fusinus kobelti'' (Kobelt's spindle), '' Cymatium kobelti'' and '' Hyalinia kobelti''. '' Kobeltia'', a subgenus of '' Arion'' slugs, is named in honor of him.
