Chloe Kennedy Anne Doromal Isleta is a Filipino-American swimmer. Early life and education Chloe Isleta is born on May 14, 1998 to Bill Walker and Cecile Doromal. She is a native of San Jose, California. Isleta studied at the Presentation High School in San Jose. She attended Arizona State University where she pursued a degree in journalism and mass communication. She would later study at the De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. Career Early years Isleta took up swimming as early as when she was six years old. She started her career in the United States. During her senior year at Presentation, she won the 200 individual medley at the California State Championship, She was also part of the Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics team. Collegiate Isleta was part of Arizona State's Sun Devils swimming team, where she was able to train under Bob Bowman. The 2019 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games, or the 30th SEA Games, and commonly known as Philippines 2019, was the 30th edition of the Southeast Asian Games, a biennial regional multi-sport event which was held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019. FINA World Swimming Championships (25 M)
The FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) or "Short Course Worlds" as they are sometimes known, is an international swimming competition. It is swum in a short course (25m) pool, and has been held in the years when FINA has not held its long course World Aquatics Championships (currently this means in even years). Unlike the FINA World Aquatics Championships, this championship is swimming-only (the World Championships feature all 5 Aquatics disciplines), and is contested in a short course, 25-meter pool (rather than a long course, 50-meter pool). The 2022 World Aquatics Championships, the 19th edition of the FINA World Aquatics Championships, were held in Budapest, Hungary, from 17 June to 3 July 2022. In March 2022, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, FINA banned both the Russian and Belarusian nationals from entering the championships. Host selection Originally, Budapest was selected to host the 2021 World Aquatics Championships. However, after Guadalajara, Mexico, pulled out from the organization of the 2017 Championships, the city took the responsibility for hosting the event, since the infrastructure was already fully ready. Consequently, the application process for the 2021 edition was reopened and the event was relocated to Fukuoka, Japan, and was scheduled to be held between 16 July to August 1, 2021.
