Chiya (Urara Meirocho)
is a Japanese four-panel manga series by Harikamo, serialized in Houbunsha's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Manga Time Kirara Miracle!'' since 2014. It has been collected in seven '' tankōbon'' volumes. An anime television series by J.C. Staff aired in Japan between January and March 2017. Plot Meirocho is a town filled with fortune tellers known as Uraras, who each specialize in different forms of fortune telling. Chiya, a girl who was raised in the woods, comes to Meirocho seeking the whereabouts of her mother. Joined by three other Urara trainees, Koume, Kon, and Nono, Chiya aims to become the highest ranked Urara in order to enlist the help of the legendary Urara and find her mother. Chiya Dam ( ja, 千屋ダム) is a dam constructed near the origin of the Classification of rivers in Japan, class A Takahashi River, Takahasi river, located in Niimi, Okayama, Niimi, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. Overview The dam is managed by the :ja:岡山県庁#備中県民局, Takahashi River Dam Integrated Management Office of the Bicchu Prefectural Bureau in Okayama Prefecture. At a height of 97.5 meters, the dam is classified as an auxiliary multipurpose gravity dam. The dam serves a multitude of purposes. These purposes include flood control, maintaining the normal flow of running water for the river, providing tap water for Niimi, supplying industrial water for downstream Mizushima in Kurashiki, as well as generating electricity. The artificial lake formed by the dam was given the name "Sensui Lake." Chiya Fujino
is a Japanese writer of literary fiction. She has published several novels and short stories, and has been awarded three major Japanese literary prizes. Fujino is a transgender woman who reflects the difficulties of her own life journey in the characterisations of her writing. Many of her characters are social misfits in conflict with the conventions and mores of wider Japanese society. Born in the city of Fukuoka, Fujino attended Chiba University. In the 1980s, she worked in a major Japanese publishing house before beginning her own writing career.
