Chittaranjan Tripathy
Chittaranjan Tripathy (born in 1971) is an actor, director, and music director who predominantly works in Hindi and Odia films. He also acted & directed several Bollywood and Ollywood movies, But he is best known for his role as 'Trivedi' in the Netflix series Sacred Games. Early life and education Tripathy was born in Chandabali in Odisha. He completed his MA in Sociology at the University of Hyderabad and, in 1996, a Diploma in Acting at the National School of Drama in Delhi. He's the batchmate of famous Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Then he studied directing at the Guildford School of Acting, London. Career In 2007, Tripathy came to the Odia movie industry with his film Dhauli Express, for which he was producer, director, scriptwriter, music director, lyricist and playback singer. Chandabali
Chandabali (or Chandbali) is an old town in the Bhadrak district of Odisha on the bank of the River Baitarani. History Before the 19th century AD, Chandabali was a small fishing village, and a natural river port. In 1866, trading began from this port to Bengal and in 1881, it was declared a government port by the British government. This led to growth and development of a market for agricultural produce. In the 1910s, the United States Hydrographic Office noted that the opening of the Bengal-Nagpur Railway had drawn trade away from the port, and that the port was now considered to be simply part of the port of Dhamra. At the time, the port had between 22 and 30 feet of anchorage, in front of the town, with three landing piers, the water 10 feet deep at their ends. The Odia film industry, colloquially known as Ollywood, is the Odia language Indian film industry, based in Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack in Odisha, India. The name Ollywood is a portmanteau of the words Odia and Hollywood. Industry In 1974, the Government of Odisha declared film making and construction of cinema theatres as an industry in the state, and in 1976 it established the Odisha Film Development Corporation in Cuttack. History Odisha has a history of filmmaking, starting from 1936. The first Odia film is ''Sita Bibaha'', made by Mohan Sundar Deb Goswami in 1936. Kabir Khan is an Indian film director, screenwriter and cinematographer who works in Hindi cinema. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (born 7 July 1963) is an Indian film director, occasional actor and screenwriter. He is best known for writing and directing ''Rang De Basanti'' (2006) and ''Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'' (2013). He is the writer and director of the films '' Aks'' (2001) and ''Delhi-6'' (2009).
