David Chiswell OBE is a British business executive and scientist who co-founded Cambridge Antibody Technology, a biosciences company in operation from 1990 to 2007. The company was an early innovator that pioneered the development of antibody drugs, including adalimumab, used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis among other things. James Chiswell
Major General James Robert Chiswell, (born 29 March 1964) is a former British Army officer. Early life and education Born in Berlin to Major General Peter Chiswell, James Chiswell was educated at Allhallows College and King's College London. Military career Chiswell was commissioned into the Parachute Regiment in 1983. He took part in Operation Barras in Sierra Leone in September 2000 for which he was awarded the Military Cross. Chiswell became Commanding officer of 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment in 2004 and led his battalion in Iraq. He was then sent to Permanent Joint Headquarters, Northwood as Assistant Chief of Staff with responsibility for current operations. Peter Chiswell (18 February 1934 – 6 December 2013) was a bishop of the Anglican Church of Australia. He was the Bishop of Armidale, in northern New South Wales, from 1976 to 1999. Chiswell was educated at the University of New South Wales and ordained in 1959. He began his ordained ministry as a curate at Quirindi, New South Wales. Richard Chiswell
Richard Chiswell (1673 – 14 May 1751) was a wealthy English merchant and politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1715 to 1722. Early life Chiswell was the eldest surviving son of Richard Chiswell, a bookseller of London, and his second wife Mary Royston, daughter of Richard Royston, bookseller to royalty. He was educated at St Paul's School. He was a merchant trading with Turkey and between 1696 and 1698, he made three journeys through the Middle East, which he documented. He married Mary Trench, the daughter and coheiress of merchant Thomas Trench of London by a licence dated 27 May 1702. His father died in 1711. In 1714 he was appointed a director of the Bank of England until 1721. He purchased Debden Hall, near Saffron Walden, in 1715. Life Henry Muilman' marriage with Phillips took place at St Benet's, Paul's Wharf. Richard Muilman was born as the son of the Dutch merchant/banker Peter Muilman (Amsterdam, 10 December 1706-Marylebone, 4 February 1790) who settled in Bishopsgate in 1722, close to London’s Dutch church the last remaining fragment of Austin Friars.
